Amanda has been an Economist with the BLS since September 2001. Initially she worked with the Current Data Analysis Branch where quarterly data was reviewed, plus she wrote various quarterly program press releases. Currently, Amanda is on the Data Collection Branch where she is involved with the MWR, ARS, and NAICS classes and coding. She also attempts to do triathlons and distance swims.
